This is an artistic look at life along the sea shore following on from the author’s ‘Illustrated country year. Not only is it presented by seasons it also has recipes from some of the UKs top chefs using the ingredients from the beach. Celia has previously done books on farm animals so moving to the beach was just over the fence! The book contains watercolours as well as linocuts. The images vary from look alkies to artist images but there is plenty to learn if the coast is a habit you rarely visit.
